Dear Senior,
I do not need to explain to you the concept of senioritis. However, I do need to caution you of its diagnosis. There are two categories for the dangers of senioritis:
1. Early Applications: If your Early application is deferred to regular action, a college will require your first semester senior year grades. If those grades are port due to the effects of senioritis, your chances will decline greatly. So do not let your grades drop.
2. Regular Action: You will also often be required to present your first semester senior year grades. Low grades will show a lack of commitment, which is not what schools look for in admits. So again, don't fall to the temptations of senioritis.
