Dear Senior:
I hope you got my Hunger Games reference. Anyways, a great way to learn about the simple (but important) aspects of a college is through information sessions. This way, you can meet admissions officers, professors, and/or alumni. These are not only fabulous connections, but also great accounts of firsthand experiences without the college. When alumni come, you also get relatively un-"fluffed" information about the school. By that I mean that they don't usually feel shy in expressing the negative aspects of the schools as well. So sometimes talking to the admissions officers and these alumni is in fact the best part.
Not to mention they often give free memorabilia.
Best of luck,
-The Online Counselor
